Life is Beautiful

I am not a movie fan. I recognize them as an attempt at art, but generally don't view them as art. To me, art produces emotions that demonstrate a piece of God's character, and I find very few modern films that acknowledge life as it truly is. Films become an escape for many, not art.

Recently my brother spoke about sabbath...about rest. I realize for much of my life that rest has been absent. It has been waiting for me but I have sought breaks instead. My breaks were selfish. They have been escape from something beautiful.

Life is Beautiful.
If you have never seen Life is Beautiful go see it. It is exactly as it sounds. The movie brings out intense feelings of happiness every time I see it. I find myself wanting to act as Guido acts, to be a father who makes the ultimate sacrifice for his son. It reminds me that God calls his people to find redemption in any situation, to be Christ for someone else. What an opportunity! truly

I am apart of THE beautiful love story

This is my story. This is the sacrifice my father made. This was his gift to me.
